Nick Cowen Dip. PFS. MIoD., Managing Director

Over 25 years experience in the financial services industry and in recent years successfully built a forward-thinking IFA practice offering a comprehensive service and investment proposition to corporate, high net worth and direct-service clients.

During the early years of his career, Nick worked within the personal and corporate banking sector with NatWest. This was followed by several years with the Prudential before he moved into the independent advice sector, forming his own practice in 1994. This was followed by various roles in compliance and management working with other committed professionals and developing a wealth of experience of how the IFA market operates.

Nick's goal is to continue working with other 'like-minded' individuals in managing their transition into the new world of financial services through defined business strategies and developing clear propositions for their clients.

He has experience in many aspects of financial services including particular skills in business building and development, aquisitions and mergers, compliance and systems.

Nick holds the Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma level in Financial Planning and is a qualified Pension Transfer Specialist (G60). Nick is also a member of the Institute of Directors.

How we work

Initially, we meet to establish what your needs are. Like a fact-find, often the perceived problem is not always the priority you have and this may be established during our discussions.

We will then pull together a proposal for you, which reflects our discussions and outlines the next steps.

You then decide how you want to proceed - whether on a retainer basis or one-off project, you can judge what is most cost effective and most efficient for your business purposes.
